CNY Celebrations in school on 14 Feb 2013

Early in the morning in the lift. 

To be frank, Isa was not very ready for this speech.

Everyone is dressed up for the celebration!

The three selected children for prayer recital.

 The kiddos CNY dolls dressed up by children.

His friends who are in the same group as he is.

His classmates since last year.

I know Isa will miss them.

From babies to toddlers to preschoolers and now they are school going children!

Things to do during CNY..

First: You need to know how to SMILE with a pair of oranges.

it is ok if you cant speak in fluent sentences yet but very important you must show your joyous face!

Second: You must know who to "angkat". 

(translated as get into their good books)

This is my maternal grandma thus she is Dora's great grandma. 

I bet she gave Dora a BIG ang bao.

Third: You must learn how to listen to the "old folks" tales.

This is my Ray's maternal side Uncle and Aunt 

thus Dora has to address them as "kao gong " and "kum po" 

(translated as Great grand uncle and Great grand auntie in cantonese)

Fourth: you can call someone if you are bored

"Hello popo! I miss you!"

Lastly: Please rem to fill up your stomach in the midst of visiting!

"See what I am cooking mama!"

Dora loves her as much as she loves me..

It is the festive season again and I always use this opportunity to visit this very special person.

I hardly get to see her, let alone hear her voice.

She is my other "mom'.

A mom who took care of me when my own mom is busy at work.

A mom who "gave" me 4 other siblings.

Who also loves me like her own child.

Which I know she will also love my children like her own grandchildren.

She is my Godma.

Their God grandma.

See how my Dora adores her?

Because Dora knows how dear she is to me.

And my Godma said I was bigger than Dora when I was her age.
