Pinu's rolling good times..

her milestone at exactly 20 weeks.

21 June: A day in the West..

West Coast Park..
Beautiful place..
But mummy Connie dislike sand so Isa dislike them too
so no play in the sandy playground..

Just kites and running and lotsa of running and more running!

love the HUGE space..
but some children just decided to literally sit in the middle of the road
cos there were afraid of getting dirty
sad to say.. these are the modern city kids

so pampered till L had to remove his shoes and socks and knock 'em off
in the middle of the road again?

my lil buddy.. enjoying his day

then he started getting cheeky..

I seriously have no idea what was the pose were about..

ok finally one decent photo.

sorry but those were not my favourite. I just like the colour contrast of this pic.

West Coast Recreation Centre
Definitely a first try for Isa to "bowl" with an actual bowling ball..

Can someone please explain to me why girls are sorta attracted to him?

Best score of the 10 frame game: 15 pins down :)
Good try baby.

Happy Father's Day..

Post dated entry dedicated to my dearest baby, Papa Ray.

Just when I thought I ran out of ideas to blog, you came to my mind.

This is a special year for both of us as we have a new milestone: 2 kids.

N before memories fail me, I would like to dedicate this entry to my dearest baby who has indeed been through thick n thin w me all these years.

You are not just the pillar of strength to me, you are also my best buddy. One best soul mate that I cannot live without. You are my breath n everything. You never complain or utter a sigh even when I'm having my pms as I throw my missy temper at you. All you usually do was to acknowledge the situation with a silent nod.

When you are home, you never fail to make me laugh with your expired lame jokes, esp when u know I had a bad day at work.

You are always there when I need a good rub or a good scratch on my back. You are always there when Isa needs his "wrestling" practices. You are also always there to help hold the plastic bag if pinu poos at 3am.

You are you n this is why we love you.
After 8 years of marriage,I am proud to let you know I love you even more every day which is why I decided to walk this route with you for the rest of my life.

Happy Father's Day!

P/s: so are we really gonna plan for #3? *intense look*

Food at 20 weeks..

We introduce apple purée w cereal! Pinu loves it!
Feeding is still 5x milk (160ml) complimented with apple purée w cereal in the morning n cereal in the evening. The portions of purée that we give is only quite small say like two teaspoons thus it is not exactly replacing her milk intake yet.

She is watching television programme by the way, in case you were wondering why she has the intense look.

Sentosa.. Again

Just a 3 of us for this quarterly affair.

Ugly side of motherhood..

2 children on your bed = war zone

I lost count of the number of urine n drool stains, vomit patches and etc

Don't ask me when I am going to change my mattress. I will only say "later"

This is a post dated entry.

About a month ago, I submitted an entry of my bravery story to a wonderful mummy blogger Elizabeth's Mompreneur's contest.

P/S: I wore this T-shirt to the Army Open House 2012 but carrying Ms pinu  in the carrier actually covered up my this very cute t-shirt.

Please visit their store if you are interested to get your customised family outfit in an excellent material with good prints.

And here was my short story:

Hi Mom Kao
This is Tr Connie :D Trying to share my bravest thing I had ever did as a mom is that I had two kids w/o epi. This may sound no biggie deal but for my second one, I gave birth to her all by myself, with the absence of my gynae or any medical professional. Only my husband was my side.

Hello, Connie! I think THAT is like the bravest thing! It’s a big deal to NOT do it with epidural and even a bigger one to do it without your gynae… I salute you woman. I was like screaming for the epi the whole time (x3)! Will send you a pm and you let me know the sizes for you, Isa and Dora k? :)
